Infants receive individual care routines that foster sensory and motor skill development.

Our infant care program is designed to support your child’s early milestones through attentive, nurturing care. Each day is filled with activities that stimulate sensory development and promote motor skills, providing a solid foundation for future learning. Our experienced caregivers create a supportive atmosphere where babies feel engaged and encouraged as they explore their surroundings. With a focus on individual care routines and age-appropriate activities, we help your child feel confident and valued. This environment encourages curiosity and helps your infant develop the skills necessary for their next stages.

Our infant room is designed with a variety of age-appropriate toys and materials to encourage growth and development.

Frequently Asked Questions

What items does your program provide?
Building Blocks supplies diapers, wipes, stage 2 baby foods, formula, and crib linens. Additionally, we provide breakfast, a morning snack, lunch, and an afternoon snack once your baby is ready for solid foods.
Are parents allowed to enter the classroom?
One parent may enter if needed; however, to ensure the safety of all infants, we kindly request that parents drop off and pick up at the infant door. Siblings are not permitted in the infant room. Parents may also be required to wear shoe coverings upon entry.
What will my baby learn?
Infants progress at their own pace in a predictable manner. Teachers support their development by following milestones and offering engaging activities and opportunities for exploration. We use the Frog Street Infant curriculum, which focuses on the four key domains: physical, language, social/emotional, and cognitive. A typical day includes songs, stories, and fingerplays.
Do you ensure babies get tummy time?
Floortime, or “tummy time,” will be scheduled for young infants at least twice daily, with the duration increasing as they grow. You’ll also notice that the room contains very little “restrictive equipment.” Instead, children spend most of their awake time on the floor, actively learning to move, roll, crawl, pull up, and take steps.
Do the infants go outside?
Yes, infants are provided with at least a few minutes of outdoor time daily, weather permitting.
